What sizes are available in a Hidden Water Pool?
Currently we have 6 sizes available. They are 12, 14, 16, and 18 foot diameter rounds, and 8 x 14 or 10 x 18 foot rectangular sizes. We are also engineering other shapes and sizes, so please contact us for when additional sizes will be available.
What type of maintenance is needed?
Our pools have been engineered to require very little maintenance, since there are no chemicals or lubricants used. In fact, our hydraulic system utilizes the pools own water to raise and lower the patio. Our Certified Pool Builder Network does offer extended maintenance programs to insure that proper inspections are maintained.
How much does it cost?
The cost of a Hidden Water Pool varies based on size, options, and installation sites. Although the initial cost is more than traditional in-ground pools, the versatility, safety, and lower operational/utility costs create more value for the homeowner. In addition, our pools have much greater resale value when you sell your home.
Can you stop the floor at any depth?
The patio becomes the floor of your pool at the touch of a button. You can raise and lower the floor from one inch to almost 6 feet in depth, and stop at any depth in between.
Can you get underneath the patio?
One of the sections in the Hidden Water Pool patio has an access panel that can be removed by a Certified Builder to enable entry to the bottom of the pool shell for any maintenance that is needed.
How does the control panel work?
In order to turn on the Control Panel for your Hidden Water Pool, you must insert and turn the key and enter your personal security code. You are now ready to operate your Hidden Water Pool. When you are done, just remove the key and take with you to avoid unauthorized activation.
Will this work in cold weather climates?
A Hidden Water Pool utilizes materials that can sustain hot and cold weather climates. In fact, since the cost to heat the pool water is dramatically reduced due to the insulated patio panels, you can avoid costly winterization expenses.
Where is the water stored?
The water resides under the patio surface when the pool is not in use. When you are ready to go swimming the patio lowers and the water is displaced around the perimeter of the patio edge. So your pool water is always located in the same space surrounded by a traditional pool shell at the bottom and the sides.
Can you use salt water chlorinators or ozone systems?
Since a Hidden Water Pool utilizes many traditional pool components, you can choose the type of water purification system that fits your needs.
Are solar panels available?
Yes. Solar panels can be installed to further reduce utility costs and increase the already substantial green benefits of a Hidden Water Pool.
